Hello again, folks! You remember me, right? It's Faith, the vintage 1962 Scotty. Throughout the course of the last week I found out a very important detail. I am a test. I guess with me it's all or nothing. You see, my new owner has had some struggles. You know what they are. Everyone has them. Old Glory Vintage Travel Trailer Restorations almost traveled down the highway of lost souls. Anyway, the last year has been a bit of a conundrum. 99 wants nothing more than to do what she loves for a living. That's restore old trailers and put them back on the road where they belong. I guess it's a big dream that was going good for a while and then circumstances changed. So....long story short, this is one last ditch effort to make this dream a reality. Apparently, that means 99 has a deadline to finish me. On top of that the work has to be quality. I have to turn out good and strong and able to last another 50 years or more. Needless to say, the pressure is on, but absolutely no short cuts or shoddy work will be allowed. I have to turn out to be something that someone will fall in love with, not only because I am going to be cute as all get out, but because I am going to be worth having. Something someone can be proud of. That's cool with me! So come on along and let's watch this dream unfold. 99 and I have faith, do you?
Here is what I looked like the last time we talked.
The rebuild is starting to take place and the proof is in the puddin', dahling!
Or in this case, it's in the photos.

My streetside cabinets required a rebuild. The supplies were available and I think doing it this way will sturdy me up some.
Getting a new streetside bench seat too!
That old wheel well is going to be painted. Nothing is fitted in permanently yet but 99 assures me I will get all my parts and pieces back.
This bed facing gets changed again later. You know what they say, if at first you don't succeed...
Anyway, it wasn't quite good enough so 99 is going to make it all one piece.
I just can't wait until someone sits down and enjoys my little dinette again. Cards anyone?
And here is my little cubby. Still needs a door, but that will come. You will see. And yes, that is a hole in my floor. Wish I could talk cause I would tell 99 exactly why it is there. I came here with carpeting over this spot and a board securely fastened over the hole. 99 removed it and said "Oh, shoot, go figure". No worries though. She will figure out a way to repair this eyesore and make it better. I've got faith. Besides, a master carpenter stopped by to see me the other day and he took a look at it and said it was no big deal. I felt better after he explained how to fix this without ruining my integrity.
99 says every trailer comes with little surprises and if you have picked one up you know exactly what I am talking about here. Here are a few of my surprises. In the kitchen drawer, I was hiding this...
You should have heard the big sigh of relief when 99 found it. That's one less emblem to be searched all over for! Yeah, yeah, I know it's pepto pink, but that can be fixed.
Check out my table. It's Lucy and Desi! Ha! One of the reasons I know that 99 and I were meant to be together for a while is because some people have been known to call her Lucy. We won't even get into why, but I'm taking this as a sign and so is she.
Every night 99 covers me up with a this weird sort of blanket and says goodnight. And every night I hope she comes back in the morning because I can't wait to see what is going to happen to me next! You know what? She does!
I hope you come back too and follow along on this big adventure. If you have any advice or words of wisdom, feel free to leave a comment. They are always welcome. For now, I will leave you with this:

Goodnight my faithful followers. Keep the faith alive!
